It’s been quite a while since I last wrote! I haven’t been lazy though, just busy. I think some life updates are in order.

The biggest update is that I have relocated to Dallas to live with Devyn! After he had dropped me back off in Wichita I decided that I wanted to go back to Dallas and soon. It felt weird and wrong to be in Wichita again after having been with Devyn for three weeks.

I didn’t just make the decision on a whim though. I talked to my brother, I talked to my therapist, I talked it out with Devyn and 840, and I talked about it with my parents. I also did inform my leather family about it. The decision was a difficult one for me to make though. I had to think about my future, my goals, and what it would mean with my involvement with my leather family.

I thought about school and how there are many paths to get to where I want and I was already on my way there because of the help Devyn has given me. I also knew I was going to be leaving Wichita regardless of what happened because of what I wanted to do. The last thing that made the decision difficult was my leather family. I didn’t want to just up and leave and risk not seeing them again. When I thought about it I knew I would still be involved as much as I could. Many of my obligations, creating the Ravns Report and flyers for the Nest, were things I was going to keep up with regardless of where I was. I would still be in the family chat and be in the Ravns Nest discord and be involved at least on those levels.

Yet I wouldn’t be involved physically and I wouldn’t get to see them often. I knew I would visit often though, Devyn has stated very clearly that he likes the Ravns Nest.

So after speaking with my therapist, my parents, my brother, and my leather family I was off to Dallas! I’ve been here for about a week and a half now. We’ve spent quite a bit of time cleaning and organizing and getting me unpacked.
