Pervertables are arguably some of my favourite toys. They can be inexpensive, easy to find, and bring new and interesting sensations. For those that are unaware what pervertables are, they’re any everyday object that can be turned into a toy. The most common examples you see are clothes pins, wooden spoons, or hair brushes. However, if you get creative enough  you can use basically anything as a toy; be it for impact, sensory play, or sexual scenes. 

So here is a list of places to get toys with some examples!

Big Box/Department stores
These are stores like Walmart, Kroger, Ross, and Kohls. You can find a wide range of items that are relatively inexpensive but still fun! Some examples being:

• Hair brushes
• Wooden spoons/spatulas
• Mini cast iron skillets
• Foam bats
• Rulers/Yardsticks
• Ducktape (you can get decorative ones too)

Hardware Stores
These are of course stores like Lowes, Home Dept, and Ace Hardware. The only thing I will say is in terms of toy possibilities is that you don’t want to get rope from a hardware store because it’s not safe for skin. The only exceptions to this really are things like coconut rope.

• Chain
• Soft Mallets
• Rebar 
• Spring clamps (these are much meaner than clothes pins)
• Rubber pipe or tubing (the make great rug beaters)
• Swing supplies 

 Antique Stores
There is no one guarentee as to what you can find at antique stores, since each shop has something different but there’s always interesting finds. One of my favourite toys that I got at an antique store was a heavy duty yard stick. It was about 1/2 inch thick and could really stand up to a beating.
